
The Inspectors, 2009
The video counterpart to "Helen Major: A Documentary Account" (Published by AKV Berlin, 2009). This video documents the final interview between the artist and her illusive subject, Helen Major. Major reveals some of her life stories, including those in which she has close encounters with Vancouver Serial Killer, Robert Pickton, and simultaneously reveals many of the astounding similarities she shares with Szaflarski. It becomes clear that both are inpectors in their methods, approaches and mentality.

Dropping, 2008
One of four projects that was included in the Publication "Documents of Suspicious Non-Events", 2008. In this Video three household objects are each dropped 10 times from a significant height. The objects lose their form after each consecutive drop.

The Path, 2007
Made in collaboration with artist, Anna-Maria Herms (Germany), "The Path" is a documentation of the final leg of the production of a public work made in Skoki, Poland. The public work consisted of literally a path made by Herms and Szaflarski, that was initiated deep in the woods and then was slowly dug out of the ground towards a pedestrian crossing.

Waterfront, 2006
This video uses time-lapse and documents a night on the Vancouver Waterfront from sunset to sunrise. On this specific spot lies the public artwork from Vancouver artist, Liz Magor. For this video, Szaflarski placed a tent beneath the work. During the night the programmed lights in Magor's piece is mimicked by the lights within the tent, as well as from the lights in the buldings in the city.
